Childhood Nostalgia
Researched, designed, and installed by Charles City CAPS students. The current Childhood Nostalgia exhibit showcases artifacts from the 1950s.

Tractor Addition
Tells the history of the tractor industry in Floyd County. Features Hart-Parr, Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline, and White tractors.

Carriage Room
Now reopened, what was once the Collections Room, now features the museum’s carriage plus rotating exhibits! Right now come see our Hotels in Floyd County exhibit.

Legel’s Drugstore
One of the only complete turn of the 19th century drug stores featuring over 50 thousand objects.

Pioneer Hall
Step back in time and experience what life was like back in the early 1850s, complete with an original 1853 log cabin.

Period Home
Five themed rooms showcase what life was like in a turn of the 19th century home in Floyd County.

Come learn about the man who revolutionized veterinary medicine and see an original laboratory used in this building.

Model Railroad
Since the early 1990’s the Floyd County Museum has partnered with the Charles City Model Railroad Club. The Club meets every Wednesday at the Museum and the room is open with trains running at most Museum events.

Historic Business District
Currently featuring a Dentist Office, Barbershop, Milliners, Doctor’s Office, and Chapel.
