  Carrie Chapman Catt Girlhood Home and Museum

Catt, who grew up near Charles City, led the final drive for universal woman suffrage in the United States and founded the League of Women Voters in 1920. Her 1866 girlhood farm home is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
